BOTANICAL SURVEYS & ASSESSMENTS

Our experienced and knowledgeable botanists and plant ecologists deliver a wide range of flora impact assessments from small-scale development sites to major infrastructure projects.

VEGTATION RE-MAPPING

Epicentre Environmental specialises in Property Map of Assessable Vegetation (PMAV) development, in accordance with the Vegetation Management Act 1999, from the initial desktop assessment and field survey right through to submission and ongoing liaison with the State’s assessing officers, thereby correcting the mapping and returning certainty to landholders and developers.

VEGETATION CLEARING APPLICATIONS

Under the QLD State Vegetation Management Regulation 2012 a Property Vegetation Management Plan (PVMP) is required to accompany a development application that involves the clearing of regulated vegetation. Epicentre Environmental can prepare a property or landscape scale PVMP to accompany any development application.

SPECIAL LEAST CONCERN MANAGEMENT

With a range of specialised plant ecologists and experienced vegetation research professionals, we provide accurate and operational flora management plans including Special Least Concern (SLC) flora management plans specific to project sites environmental compliance conditions.

THREATENED SPECIES MANAGEMENT

Identification and mapping of threatened species within the project site, clearing permit applications, risk assessments and mitigations plans along with implementation programs to best manage the species identified.

OFFSETS & BIO-CONDITION ASSESSMENTS

Our botanists and plant ecologists will relocate threatened and other significant plants to revegetation trial sites working within an offset management plan, including monitoring and reporting activities. Epicentre’s ecologists also conduct bio-condition assessments as an offset management requirement.
